I’m getting married this upcoming Sunday, then we’re leaving for our honeymoon early Tuesday morning. Those things I’m looking forward to— but this past two months has been planning and family hell (comparatively). I can’t wait to be done with it all...
First thing’s first— bachelor party coming up this Friday. I’ve got the day planned to start with a few people heading out to Skyline Dr. for a cruise. Unfortunately I couldn’t get Project Wannabe Abarth (1977 Fiat Spider) ready, so I’ll be driving a rental myself— likely a 4cyl Mustang. We’ll also have two of the groomsmens’ cars out to play; a 2010 Camaro SS and 2006 Lotus Exige. I can’t imagine a better way to unwind before the wedding— but we’ll see what the night brings ;)

Congrats!!! I just did all this noise...wedding/honeymoon. I’m sure 800 people already told you that your wedding will be a blur, and to try and take two minutes to step back and appreciate everyone/everything. It’s true and you should do that.
Anyway the last few weeks leading up to the wedding are really tough. We could not wait for it to be over, but the honeymoon made that all better.

Clearly you’re not drinking enough. When my friend got married he had been on a 3 week bender. He said it was the smartest thing he’d ever done in his life.

We got married on a Wednesday evening because that’s when StPatricks day was that year, then reception on the following Friday evening. I don’t see how people cram it all in one day.
My brother went to the StPattys day parade and got drunk, so that was not helpful, but when he got married I got him back, not by being drunk but growing some medium sideburns. I look ugly in the wedding photos, I think I came out ahead.
